Music Makers of Milton Keynes was established in 1985, with a first performance in 1986, and 40 years on the group is still going strong, albeit with a somewhat different direction than where it started from. Many previous members are involved in entertaining Milton Keynes and our locale still, and we hope you can join us and our guest performers for an evening of song.
Music Makers will be joined by past Musical Director David Meek, compering the evening, close affiliates from Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society, local quartet Michaelmas Daisies and other guests during the night. Profits from the evening will go in aid of Willen Hospice. Refreshments will be available, with further donations to Willen Hospice most welcome.
Tickets are available in advance to avoid disappointment on the night - available through Ticketsource, or at Willen Hospice shops (Bookshop in Stony Stratford, Stacey Bushes & Kiln Farm). Tickets bought on the door will need to be cash-only.
£5 per adult, with accompanied children under 16 free to attend. We encourage you to donate and take part in our raffle too!
On the night, we have negotiated access to parking nearby to the venue West End United Church, Wolverton, Milton Keynes, MK12 5JZ - this will be on the grounds of Wyvern School, Aylesbury St. MK12 5HU (see below), if possible avoiding on-street parking, and noting the one-way system in place.
Doors open 6:30pm to start from 7pm through to 9:30pm on Saturday 14th November 2026
West End United Church, corner of Church St. & Anson Rd.
Wyvern School parking, the next street over from the Church
In more recent history, MMMK celebrated our 30th Anniversary with a tour to Belgium, and we will have a little display of some past footage and artefacts from previous events and earlier performances to see on the night. We hope you can join and help make our 40th that more special, locally!
Many thanks go to our event team, in particular: Lynne, Debbie and Julie, and much apprecation as always to our MD Andrew Winder, supporting our community ethos and choir requests for contemporary arrangements amidst more regular fare!
